Negative ions contact with the surface of bacteria, release charges and absorb opposite charges. Enough negative ions will penetrate through the porous cell wall, penetrate into the cell interior, destroy the cell electrolyte, damage the cell membrane, and thus kill the cell. At the same time, bacteria and viruses are attached to the particles. When the particles are adsorbed by the dust collection filter, they are carbonized under the high pressure of 5000 V and completely killed.
